Assist the Senior Director of human resources in the full range of departmental responsibilities including:
• Recruitment coordination; screening resumes and applicants
• Conducting screening interviews
• Training
• Updating employee manual
• New Hire On-Boarding
• Compliance and Reporting
• Records and HRIS files maintenance
• Creation and update of personnel files
• Employee Relations
• Benefits
The position requires 4+ years of HR/Benefits experience plus a degree in Human Resources or a related field of study, knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws as well as DC employment laws and practices.
We are looking for an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and writing skills. Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, ADP, Word, DocuSign, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access are required.
